The OABCIG Odebolt Elementary and the Middle School collected over 1,300 items to donate to the Ida County Community Basket. Each middle school student who donated was entered into a drawing to gently throw a pie in the face of both staff and student council volunteers. Three students from each grade level 6-8 were drawn to choose from the brave volunteers. The Ida County Community Basket is part of Food Bank of Siouxland, Inc. and serves residents of Arthur, Battle Creek, Galva, Holstein, Ida Grove, Kiron and Odebolt.
Tristian and Tucker Greenwald, with the help of their mom, donated three new series to the Ida Grove elementary library. Beth hosted an Usborne book party and donated some of the proceeds to the school library. Thank you to the Greenwald family for their generous donation!📚
