HS TAG students interested in career opportunities in the area of psychology met with former OABCIG graduate, Dr. Jessie Pauley on zoom to learn about her education and psychology practice.

4th Grade in Odebolt learned about the famous Berlin Candy Bomber, Gail Halvorsen, from guest speaker Jim Lundell. Mr. Lundell has been visiting the 4th grade for the past few years, sharing his friend's story. Lundell brings the students gum and chocolate, which they enjoyed as he read "Mercedes and the Chocolate Pilot" by Margot Thies Raven.
With all the changes due to the weather, here is an updated activities schedule for next week.
Monday: Varsity Basketball will travel to Oakland-Riverside for a G/B Doubleheader beginning at 6:00. (this was originally JV-V Girls)
Tuesday: OABCIG will host Woodbury Central in conference basketball action. Varsity ONLY beginning at 6:00.
Tuesday: Solo & Small Group Ensemble for HS/MS will take place at the HS, beginning at 4:00
Wednesday: The girls will be playing SC North in matinée action at 3:45. We are hoping that this will be an opportunity for more of the student body to attend and support the girls. THERE WILL NO ADMISSION CHARGED FOR THIS GAME.
Thursday: The Girls will be on the road in WVC Tournament basketball action. The location and opponent will be determined after Tuesday night's game.
Thursday: The Boys will host Siouxland Christian in JV-Varsity action at 6:00. (make up)
Friday: The Boys will likely be hosting a WVC Tournament JV-V Game vs an opponent TBD.
The OABCIG Herb Irgens Wrestling Tournament will still take place on Friday starting at 4:30 and Saturday starting at 9:30 AM
OABCIG Schools will not have school Friday, January 19th. Teachers will still report at 10AM.
OABCIG Schools will dismiss at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 18th. There will be no after school activities.
OABCIG Schools will be 2 hours late Tuesday, January 16th. No morning preschool, and no morning activities.
