HS TAG and Digital and Social Media students learned about career opportunities available in sports journalism and broadcasting from Eliot Clough. Eliot, 2015 OABCIG grad, is a Recruiting Analyst for Rivals Yahoo Sports Network as well as football and basketball beat writer for Hawkeye Beacon and a podcast host.








On Monday, MS TAG students had a chance to visit the farm that Tim Youngquist grew up on south of Odebolt to see Prairie Buffer Strips up close. Students learned more about how native prairie plants decrease soil erosion and increase habitat for wildlife. Clarissa from Pheasants Forever was able to help students better imagine the impact of replanting habitat on our pheasant and quail populations. Students also practiced testing creek water for nitrates.
