The first grade classes at the Ida Grove Elementary building collected cans of food and paper products for the 100th day of school. They collected 206 items for the food pantry. Kris Gunderson and another food pantry volunteer came and talked to the first grade about the food pantry. They learned a lot and many first graders said they would like to volunteer and help some day.
