Third graders in Ida Grove had a chance to try the Engineering Design Process by designing small boats from a small square of tin foil. After testing to see how many pennies each boat would hold, teams were able to redesign one final boat. Many teams had boats that held more than 50 pennies before sinking.

Ida Grove Elementary Falcons of the Week 💜

Paisley, Clara, and Weston Wittrock held a snack and lemonade stand outside of Drey Digital this summer. They donated their proceeds to the OABCIG Elementary in Ida Grove for library books. The children made suggestions for new titles and approval was made by Mrs. Mary Rohlk, District Librarian. Bryce and Ashley are the parents of these young entrepreneurs. The school greatly appreciates their generous donation!

The Ida Grove 3rd graders had a fun day celebrating "3's Day" today. Day 3 of third grade.
