OABCIG First Grade Classes got to learn and tour the Woodbury Library Bookmobile. The Bookmobile started in 1950 and now has over 3000 books that people can check out. It's a library on wheels. The first grade classes in their first module of Wit and Wisdom, reading curriculum, learned all the ways that books travel to children all over the world. We learned that there are traveling libraries by donkeys, horses, motorcycles, bookmobiles, wagons, ships, and bikes. And we asked ourselves, "How do books change people's lives?". The Ida Grove School PTP donated to the Woodbury Library Bookmobile. Thanks PTP!!!

OABCIG Middle School & Elementary's will recognize Red Ribbon Week from October 28- November 1st. Red Ribbon Week is the longest-running and largest drug awareness and prevention program in the United States that started in 1985.
On Monday, the 3rd graders in Ida Grove had a chance to write riddles about ocean animals. Students researched their animals to discover facts that they could turn into clues, and then let their classmates guess which ocean animal they were writing about.
